Local school raises money for South Tees Diabetes UK Family Group

Romanby primary school in Northallerton supported one of their own pupils today by wearing blue to support diabetes.

Adam Malton who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in September 2014 recently stood in front of the school assembly and explained what it was like living with T1 Diabetes.

He talked about the care and support he receives with his diabetes, in particular, the South Tees Diabetes UK Family Group and what it means to him.

The school has responded to Adams talk by showing support for him in the form of a fundraiser called "Blue Day for Diabetes" on Friday 24th March 2017.

At last count they have raised an amazing £300

Well done and thank you to all the pupils and staff at Romanby Primary School.
